Hearing a saying over and over again about God?

Question:
I have a gf of mine that has complained to me many times that she hears a nasty saying over and over again in her head about God ( which isnt nice) But she is a good God Fearing person. But we have looked on the web for some type of help on this. She was hoping that maybe a real Pych. Doctor out there could help out and point her in the right way as to what she can look into as to what her problem maybe? She has had a hard time in her life and really needs some help and advice on this. Please no rude comments.

if no actual dr speaks up here, and really, how will you know, i suggest taking your friend to a local clinic...there you will be able to deal with the problem directly - even if you were to receive advice here, I think your friend will need some ongoing one-on-one counseling...there's nothing wrong with having a mental disturbance and it is good of you to be so supportive
...what...
i am currently taking psychology courses..it sounds like she may be fearing him too much...she may be having doubts about something? something that she could be subconciously angry with God about.i used to play mind games with myself.like an o.c.d. sort of thing.like if i didn't do something someone would die.stuff like that.is she hearing it? could be schizophrenia?...she needs to go see a counselor or professional in your area
Could be schizophrenia. Ive had to do a good deal of research on it lately after finding out that when i went through a similar issue about 7 years ago (hearing voices, thought it was my own thoughts but they didn't say things i would normally say). I would have to say the best course of action would be to seek a psych to look into possibly perscribing some meds. Most of the meds basically numb you (from personal experience, become almost emotionless) but they can help to stop some voices and feelings which are detrimental. Hopefully it is a stress based occurence and if/when her life improves more it will go away and not require further medication
Sounds like audio hallucinations, or maybe an obsessive compulsive disorder. You say she hears them in her head, so I'm thinking it's the latter. Sometimes they will have compulsive thoughts and have a hard time controlling or stopping them.

Anti-psychotic medication can help. It basically makes you zone out, so a really low dosage would be best.
