Grumpy when I don't want to be?
Question:
Answers:
As a teenager you are expected to be grumpy or moody.
But you really want something different and that is good.
Grumpy is about thinking and feeling.
If you are frustrated with how your life is going, grumpy is how you feel.
You can change that.
Look at my article on Coping with Stress. I'm sure you can turn what I say there about working into something about your own life.
Give it a try and let me know.

Yes. It's all the hormones and stuff, it could also be a symptom of mild depression. Occasional grumpiness is OK, but if you feel it is happening too much you might want to talk to your parents or your doctor about it. Take a look at what is happening in your life that might be stressing you a little
eat heather foods. it makes you have the energy of a 5 year old.
why would you want to be grumpy?
grumpiness and teen yrs seem to go hand in hand. but if it is a problem to you then their may be a problem. it could be as simple as a lack of sleep. how much sleep do you get a night recommended 8-10 for teenagers. if you have a family history of sleep or psychiatric disorders it could be passed on to you.
if you try sleeping extra hours and that doesnt work you could have a sleep disorder like sleep apnea. you may actually be waking up only enough to take a breath so you dont realize your doing it. are you exhibiting any other symptoms? weight gain or lose? change in appetite?
talk to your doctor it could be as simple as a sleep test to diagnose a sleep disorder or a few questions by a certified mental health specialist to determine if it is a mental health issue.
