What are the adverse effects of being expelled from a university?
Question:
Answers:
Having to explain to employers why you didn't complete your course. Self esteem and self respect.
Nothing but your self esteem, i got kicked out of Kent ******* state university, I graduated from another university and living the good life in Hawaii. Hang in there, learn from your mistakes, I did and moved on to greener pastures. It is not the end of the world.
Ummm... adverse effects.. well self esteem and not being able to got back to that university.. Oh and it will make it harder to get into other universities.
Other than that there are no physical effects that I know of.. so... you'll live and hopefully learn from your mistakes.
It's a permanent, unsavory and stigma on your personal and transcript of records that you'll find it hard to find another college or university to accept you in especially schools considered as ivy league. Some educatiors considered it the ultimate blot to any student aspiring to go places and have a brilliant career by way of education.
Be aware of the affect it will have on your self-confidence. If you're feeling down, talk to someone you trust, or an experienced councellor. Be aware that you made mistakes, and own those mistakes, but don't EVER let anyone tell you you're a failure.
Here's a hint, tradesmen often don't have a great deal of respect for universities, so you might consider a career in the trades. Look for apprentiships, or go to a technical college. I've heard Plumbers and Sparkys can make quite a bit of cash too!
