There are so many symptoms and we are not the best people to talk to about this..;) Anyway, I started acting up in class. Talking too much, fidgeting. No concentration. I got angry very quickly. I also have this weird symptom that is supposedly rare. I have tactile defensive disorder. That means certain fabrics, textures hurt me. Like a seam in satin feels like burlap to me. They decided that was the ADD, too. You really need to talk to your doc about this. Lack of concentration could be a symptom of numerous other conditions. You could be anemic, for instance. Don't take our word for it. See a doc.
If you are easily distracted and make careless mistakes, it may be a symptom. From http://www.foradd.com/
I have ADHD, so my symptoms may be a bit different from yours.
Basically, it's like having a TV in your head that's constantly switching channels--and you can't control it. If you try focusing on something your mind slides off it to something else, no matter how hard you concentrate. You may find your self daydreaming a lot.
You could take medication, IF you really have that problem; but I've gotten along without meds for over 60 years--but then again, my case is not too serious. The best thing to do is go with the flow, as it were: learn to get by with the problem. Of course, don't be hasty. Don't assume that you do have this problem. It will take some time to be sure.
