You need to see a doctor. And jumping off a 8 foot high deck will not do crap but break a lag, maybe injure the spine and possibly make you paralyzes. Then you would get admitted to the hospital. See a doctor and talk your issues over with them.
Not likely ~ 8 foot drop isn't enough to kill you but it could be enough to mame you and that would be so much worse (vegetable in a chair or bed the rest of your life with your family distraught for the rest of their lives). Don't do it.

Most likely not. I've jumped off of 9 foot high walls (admittedly, when I was a lot younger, and my bones were more flexible), without even injuring myself. You could possibly do it if you hit the ground at the right angle with your head, but you are more likely to just break your neck. Generally speaking, you need to fall a distance of at least 30 feet to ensure death (unless you fall into a snowbank). Usually, the higher, the better.
Seriously, though, you really shouldn't kill yourself.
