Weird dreams/sleep walking?

Question:
lately I've been having really weird dreams. Like one night I had a dream that there was a spider crawling in a book on the floor and I put a brush on it to smash it. when I woke up there was a brush on top of my novel. another night I woke up and I had taken all the jewelry out of my jewelry box.

other incidences are:
talking in my sleep
waking up to crying
having a lot of dreams about an ex crush of mine
and lots of nightmares

could stress be causing these?

please help

Answers:
This is your sub conscience dealing with some emotional triggers. Before you go t bed you see these common objects and really don't pay any mind to them(and why should you its a book, and a hair brush). What is in your dreams generally aren't what the true meaning is. Try to find out what your stressors are and your dreams will resolve.
Most definitely. Stress has a lot of affect on our bodies. It can give us acne, make us late, and take away our sleep. Just try to relax and you should go back to completing your normal REM cycle normally.

Also, try not to eat heavily before going to bed. This also causes nightmares because of the body's discomfort and lack of burning it all off.

Hope it helps!
It could be stress, or many other factors. I'm big on dream interpretation and I use the dreammoods.com website. It really gives you some ideas about the kind of things you are dreaming about.

As for the waking up crying and such, I might talk to a doctor if this keeps happening.

I hope you find some insight :)
Dream are usually occure due to recalling of some long term memories or even short term memories. Somtimes in can be related to personal emotions and feelings. So I assumed that stress can be related to your nightmares.

Here is the website for overcoming nightmares.
