I want my daughter back..?

well i got really depressed due to my husband and his "friend" sending me emails saying he's going to divorce me and take my daughter away and i should just go kill myself, i also have a disorder called "bipolar disorder" and what that means is there is no neutral ground, i am either really really hyper or really really depressed, and i take medicine to help with that. but anyway back to my story,
i tried taking my life on July 25th because i got so wrapped up in my depression and i believed him when he said i would never see my baby again. so i slit my wrists, i was in the hospital for 3 days, i hired a lawyer and we have a court date on Thursday to determine who gets my daughter. i have a "problem" and i am "self destructive" but he harms others, he punches holes in the walls and he yells at everyone and drinks heavily, he even beat me up when i was pregnant with my daughter, and was taken to jail over the issue. does anyone know who the judge will favor?

First, you need to make sure that you are on meds that are able to control your cycling.
Second, remember that you won't have your baby if you aren't here, so get it together for her!
You need to be able to show a judge that you are a fit parent by getting yourself together and presenting an image of a loving and capable mother. If he is what you are claiming, a judge will see right through him!!!
It depends on if the judge believes you about the abuse. The judge could decide your child isn't safe with either of you.
i think that's going to be a tough one. Although you're on medication, he has been emotionally challenging you and he hurts other people, whereas you don't say you do.
This sure isn't going to get me" Best answer"from you ! Your daughter should be permanently adopted into a stable, loving home, you should have your tubes tied and HE should have a Vasectomy! I am SO,SO,SO sick of unstable people having children they do not have the skills to care for and raise properly! When they're all done SCREWING UP the child beyond repair, they unleash him/her on society to repeat the cycle continuously!! There should be mandatory multi-level testing required to obtain a license to reproduce!! Sorry, this hits WAAAAYYY too close to home for me.

I hope for your daughter's sake she has some loving relatives to stay with. I have nothing against you, but just the fact that you slit your wrists so recently says that you have some issues that must be immediately dealt with. And your husband doesn't sound great either. If it's proven that your husband is a harm, the judge probably won't favor either of you. Please get some treatment and work hard to improve yourself so that you can be able to care for your daughter.
