Can the alcohol drink give permanent damage to brain or permanent change in the body?

Question:
I know alcohol kills brain cells by blocking the oxygen... and kills hormons like testosteron, etc.

But are damages or changes in the body permanent?

I am bit of a heavy drinker, and I drink often; like 3~5 beers twice a week, or half bottle of wine twice a week.

Please tell me.

Thanks.

Answers:
Yes alcohol can cause permanent damage to your body. It's best to drink in moderation or not at all.
it can give you liver damage
or cancer.
Alcohol is a chemical that is damaging. In order for your body to prosess it the liver must do all the work. And, that hurts your liver. A lot.
You know why the beer commericals ask you to drink responsably? Your body can heal itself. But, if you are a drunk heavy drinker that slams down 7 beers every night your body is being hurt faster than it's healing. 3-5 beers a week is not a lot. Your liver aught to keep up with you.
it is not that bad. it made bud-wiser
Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome is the name of the two conditions associated with alcohol abuse. It is treatable somewhat with vitamin B1, which also prevents it.
