What causes us to be attracted to a specific type of person? I need some help!?

Question:

I don't know how normal or abnormal it is, but I'm predomanantly attracted to feminine men... I don't mean 'metrosexuals', but rather the whole deal: long hair, feminine mannerisms, women's clothes (not so much dresses, but women's tops, blouses, high heels etc.) And yet I'd still want to feel like the typical 'woman' in a relationship, if that makes any sense at all. I'm really upset and confused, and needless to say, I've had an emotionally rich, albeit painful and fruitless love life thus far.
But I'm just not interested in 'conventionally' attractive guys, even if they're interested in me.
I haven't told my friends, but I suspect they know anyway. They probably think I'm a repressed lesbian or something, but I've never been attracted to another woman in that way.
*Groan* I'm not sure whether I want to change or not... I don't think I do...but I'd appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Just think of it like this: there IS someone for everyone, and there are definitely men out there who would be delighted to find a woman who not only understands, but takes pleasure from their affinity for women's clothing and mannerisms. Have you tried internet dating? Its an enormous boon to folks like yourself who have unusual parameters for potential lovemates. You are a blessed child of the universe, go out and live this wonderous life with joy, visualize yourself and all things in a happy and harmonious place.

That's okay. I'm attracted mainly to feminine women with big racks and tight ends.

Sexuality is a continuum. Liking effeminate men doesn't make you a lesbian, it just means you're not attracted to super-masculine guys. The biggest thing you have to worry about is whether the men you're attracted to like women. But, with the whole metrosexual thing being in right now, I think you'll have an easier time finding straight guys to be attracted to than, say, if this were happening 50 years ago. After all, it's popular right now for guys to wear pink and shop at Express--some of your friends are probably attracted to effeminate guys too, they just don't realize it!

Remember that according to research, most transvestites are heterosexual men. It shouldn't be hard to find a less masculine one among them.
