I think my boyfriend might have seziours. . . . .?

Question:
In the middle of the night sometimes he wakes up and can't breath or move at all. I have no idea what it might be except for some type of night seziour. Last night i woke up to him breathing very heavy and fast in his sleep and thought maybe he was having a bad dream . . but he quickly responded when i shook him and said he just couldn't breath or move all of a sudden. Please let me know what you think this could be.

Thanx. Cassy

Answers:
could be a number of different things from sleep paralysis to sleep apnea. he really should go and see a doctor about it. I don't mean to sound panicky because really it must have been going on sometimes now. Just get him to make an appointment and get checked out. a sleep study might be needed. take care good luck.
Sleep apnea. Needs to be checked out -
It may be sleep apnea... which is when you stop breathing while your sleeping.. its pretty common, my father has it. I would be sure to take him to a doctor just to be safe!
