Why do you get scared?

Being scared is an ancient inherent defence mechanism. If you did not get scared you would put yourself in to dangerous situations without realising it.. See a shark? Get scared? Swim away or take evasive action, live. Not get scared, stay where you are, get eaten!

i get scared of things that are unknown. since i don't know what to expect. after i see things are ok then of course i am fine. and i usually don't let it take control. it is always at first or the beginning per se.
I get scared when spiders are there :S

but i get upset when people act like losers towards me!
sometimes i get scared that i will lose the person i love.
When i have no control over something and cant do anything to make things better. For example my sons mental ill health and drug use.
