For people that suffer from ANXIETY !!?
Question:
.
Answers:
I have GAD (General Anxiety Disorder). I have panic attacks as well. When you're having a panic attack, it makes you feel like you're dying... *tightness in the chest, not being able to breathe, tingling in the limbs, rapid heart rate, cold sweats. it makes you feel like you're in a small bubble and you can't get out. The worse thing (and certainly won't hurt you) is the fact that you can pass out if you hyperventilate too much.
My experience with it is that I was able to control my anxiety and panic attacks on my own without the use or need of medication. I haven't had a panic attack in years... well aside from a few minor ones that went away quickly. The best thing for you is to see your doctor so that he can examine you to make sure nothing else is going on. Once you do, you will feel a lot better knowing exactly what it is.
But, if you are diagnosed with having panic attacks, there are many ways of controlling them without the need for medication. If you need someone to talk to, you can email me. I was diagnosed when I was 19 (I'm 33 now). And panic attacks and such are hereditary.
Anxiety ans stress can go hand in hand and cause many different problems or symptoms. You might want to go see your doctor to make sure that's what it is.
Anxiety can take many forms, each affecting a person differently. We should learn the types, as well as why a person might be suffering and if he thinks he has anxiety disorder, he can see his family doctor to determine whether the symptoms that alarm him are due to an anxiety disorder, another condition, or both.
I am obviously not a gut, but that is sooo typically normal for anxiety. I have had some anxiety issues for years, and your always going to fel tense. Have you ever thought it could almost be like a mild panic attack??
