Why do people slit there wrists and only there wrist?

Question:
Why there wrists why not anywhere else?

Answers:
its the easiest place for a person to cut through there artery and I guess you don't hear much about people cutting through anything else so if you are that way in mind you would do what you know of and not something else if that makes sense. it would really depend if you are talking of suicide of self harm. if self harm they cut through other parts of there body as well it just normally starts with there arms and moves on from there.
Basically, people slit their wrists to cut a vital artery.

Exsanguination is a common cause of death by suicide, notably by cutting open the carotid artery, or the veins on the forearms (cutting the wrists).

In human anatomy, the common carotid artery is an artery that supplies the head and neck with oxygenated blood; it divides in the neck to form the external and internal carotid arteries.
most ppl dont only cut there wrists they also cut there upper thys (so u dont see it) and they cut there wrists cuz its just so much easier its rite there and its more painful so it makes them feel better.
People cut all over their bodies. Legs, wrists, arms, stomach, breasts, wherever. In terms of suicide, there are arteries in your wrists.
we dont.
i've cut my legs, stomach, neck, throat, sides, face, and cheast.
