Answers:
Hi , i have a 21 brother with down syndrome as well . he dont yell and not violent at all .
as far as i know about this type of disability that they are peaceful in general .very loving .
they have a speech diffuculty as well thats where the jibberish come from :) . they tend to let the energy go by speeking to themselves away while nobody watches . my brother "acts" alot when he is alone .
In your case you might wanna speak to the father . they need to keep the young man busy with activity or entertain him . Good luck
you can try ear plugs, a white noise machine, and airline earprotectors which my daughter found useful in college. They may be difficult to sleep in, though.
Get Bose noise cancelling headphones. Have others go with you to complain, and have him moved.
it is a difficult situation seein how the poor kid prolly cant evn control what he is doing--maybe try talking to the family and ask them nicely if there is anythng they can do--short of someone moving im sorry i dont know really what to say--it is a hard thing to deal with just try to be nice as possible remembering that he was born that way and cant help it
