Is this depression or what?
Question:
Answers:
Look on the web for resources for depression. Most have screening tests. If you find you are depressed, and it sounds to me as if you are, talk to a counselor. Go see your physician, anybody and get help for it.
I am depressed and there is nothing wrong with seeing and talking to someone about it.
no, you're just in a rut..find something fun to do, silly even...help someone else
It could be a small case of depression. Wait and see if you continue to feel like this and if you do you should try talking to someone. Try forcing yourself to hang out with people every once in a while so you'll be social somewhat. Try to have fun when you force yourself.
Feel better!

Starting college might just be the renewal that you've been looking for! I could go on and on but there is a lot of stimulation mentally and socially there. Plus the independance that is so different than high school. Get into a club or better yet a volunteer club.
Forget the online screening tests, they are not adequate diagnostic tools.
Find something that you enjoy doing and do it, regardless of how stupid you might feel. Start a sport or get some exercise. Join a club, start a new hobby. Just do something that you don't already do everyday.
