why is being desperate or looking desperate bad? people all over the web site say "you look desperate, so don't try and call him for a bit" but why? maybe you are desperate. uhg. i just don't get it. what are your views?

Sometimes if you look desperate, it scares the guy away.
Desperation is a turn-off. Don't ask why it is. Just know that it is.
If you are desperate, maybe you shouldn't be in a relationship right now.
