He loves himself more than you. Are you a "Trophy wife"? They feel they're always right. They feel the rest of the world is highly unintelligent and not at their level. what possessions they have (cars, job, women, guns, etc) are measures of their manhood. Very materialistic. .
Narcissists tend to treat the people closest to them very poorly. Outwardly they want people around them to believe they are wonderful, perfect people.
They rarely show emotion immediately but rather think about the situation and then do whatever is necessary to make it look like they are great. If they have done something wrong they will try to make it look like they are the one who has been hard done by.
Often they are alcoholics.
They have an answer for everything. They must spend a lot of time thinking about every angle of a situation so that they can have an answer if ever they are questioned.
I would have to say that if indeed your husband is a narcissist then what you have right now is probably the best it is going to get.

A narcissistic person has to have the world revolve around them. They don't have empathy for anyone and everything in their world is about them.How they feel, their opinion is they only one that is important.
