When you are sad, what cheers you up?

my friends are never there for me.
i only have some independant friends who will stand by me.

Listening to some good songs and dancing, Going to youtube and watching some funny videos. Talking to friends about my problems.
Reading. It keeps my mind off of what is bothering me.
You know a really long, really hot shower feels really, really good. Even if I am clean and don't really need one. That cheers me up alot!
Talking to a friend, seeing a good movie, reading a good book, having a good laugh.
I have to meditate, or calm down in some way. I will usually reflect on the facts and decide whether those facts are really worth worrying about and usually they are not worth worrying about. And then I decide on a course of action of what to do next. It works and then before you know it, I'm listening to music and meeting with friends.
Listening to music always cheers me up, some of my fav tunes. That seems to dull that annoying empty feeling you get when you're sad. Oh and anything funny... also sending messages to my friends or talking to them, helps me feel a little less lonely.
