Am I a Narcissist?

So this sounds like typical narcissism right? But the weird thing is that I am actually a nice person, not abusive or anything, just a selfish one.

You sound like me. Screw everyone else, just do what ever YOU want to do. I do that, and it's worked out good for me so far. I'm dating a guy who majored in business at Duke and his parents are rich so he will probably inherit it when they pop off. Then I will marry him, and the UH OH ... irreconcilable differences ... lucky me.
But yet you find the need to ask? maby not, just a personialty disorder!

It sounds like you have narcissistic qualities but would not qualify for a diagnosis of the disorder. Many of us could look at symptoms of various illnesses and self-diagnose all over the place. It's called medical students disease. When you actually have a disorder generally it is due to severity: it is maladaptive in how it affects your life and inter-personal relationships. Are you so obsessed with looking "perfect" (is there a such thing??!) before you leave the house that you go back in over and over to the mirror, and then leave and then turn around and go right back, so you're always running late and driving yourself and people around you crazy and it causes you to not be able to hold a job, etc.? (probably not and that is more obsessive-compulsive anyway)
This is judgemental, but it sounds like you are just incredibly shallow and vain. Possibly with age and experience you will learn some humility and become a more rounded person. Hopefully.
Or maybe your're just a narcissist.
Giving yourself that label just sounds like the easy way out though.

You sound like you could possibly be one. You probably would benefit from being evaluated by a psychiatrist. Because if you one, your symptoms could posssibly and probably get worse and impair your life. Also Narcissist have less meaningful and fullfilling relationships. Sometimes they can't maintain any thing in the long term.
Don't let it bother you,

Sounds to me like you're more of a megalomaniac than a narcissist.
Megalomania -- an unrealistic belief in ones superiority, grandiose abilities, and even omnipotence. It is characterized by a need for total power and control over others, and is marked by a lack of empathy for anything that is perceived as not feeding the self.
Narcissism is generally characterized by an extremely low self-esteem.
Then again, the symptoms you describe are also characteristic of bipolar disorder and sometimes even . . . Schizophrenia!!
