LOL! ROFLMAO!
No, Cookie Monster has an addiction, not OCD.
Just like Bert and Ernie are only friends (wink)
Big Bird is naturally big, he doesn't have a hyperactive-pituitary problem!

Although I have yet to see the Count, being a vampire, do someone in and drink their blood! I think he's on cognitive therapy. Displacing his urges to bite someone with number counting!

LOL!
The real Cookie Monster, or the one on Y!A who *tosses cookies* all over the place?
umm ha
I dunno...he eats veggies a lot lately, not just cookies.

And don't make fun of Cookie Monster! He rocks! :p
He does, but recently they've tried to tone him down and have him eat fruits and vegetables also. I'm pretty sure that adds multiple personality disorder to the mix.
You're right,lol.
There's the repetition "C is for cookie, that's good enough for me, C is for cookie that's good enough for me. OOH cookie, cookie, cookie ends starts with C". I think there's medication for that.
People with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) have persistent, upsetting thoughts or obsessions and use rituals or compulsions to control the anxiety these thoughts produce. Most of the time, the rituals end up controlling them.
OCD can be accompanied by eating disorders or other anxiety disorders or depression. It strikes men and women in roughly equal numbers and usually appears in childhood, adolescence, or early adulthood. One-third of adults with OCD develop symptoms as children, and research indicates that OCD might run in families that means its hereditary.
The course of the disease is quite varied. Symptoms may come and go, ease over time, or get worse. If OCD becomes severe, it can keep a person from working or carrying out normal responsibilities at home. People with OCD may try to help themselves by avoiding situations that trigger their obsessions, or they may use alcohol or drugs to calm themselves.
OCD usually responds well to treatment with certain medications or exposure-based psychotherapy, in which people face situations that cause fear or anxiety and become less sensitive to them.
