Have ever felted this way?
Question:
Im 16 is this normal?
Answers:
Well, sadly enough. It is, but doesn't mean you should just live with it. My first reaction is go talk to someone professionally about all of this. They can help you. Just like basketball players can win games, it's their job. But if you don't feel comfortable with that idea, my suggestion is to write your feelings in a book, or make poetry or music. Or do something to take out the stress and anxiety that comes with being a teenager. One of the reasons you feel such extreme emotions is because of the hormonal inbalance in your body. So thats another contributor to this problem. Just trust me on this, you are not alone. And the problems you think are impossible to climb, are really easier then you thought. But make sure you don't try and do them alone. I have spent four years trying to deal with my problems alone, just to prove that I need no one. And well, thats what I really ended up with every night, and now I am just getting back what I lost.
Just try your best to keep a chin up, and pull through these teenage years with as little regrets as possible.
Get counseling you are depressed Hun:(
you need to talk to a therapist. you have depression. it is treatable and a new world can open up for you. go talk to someone.
im 12 i feel like that alot minus the crying.. and sometimes instead of time flying it seems like it just stops but normally its going by to fast.
u should be more positive my friend is always depressed and has a says she feals that way u should be more upbeat ppl would like u better
I was EXACTLY like you at 16 honey! It is totally normal to feel these feelings just NOT at such the extreme. You are crying out for some sort of help and you should talk to someone. Hopefully you have someone - Suicide is a real cop out and doesn't get you anywhere - not even into heaven (I'm glad I didn't "do it" because I wouldn't be a 38 year old wife and mother of 3 beautiful kids today!) It WILL get better, you just have to find out what it is you really want? Find something that interests YOU and go with it - you will find people in your "circle" who understand and can relate to you because you will have a "common ground". I talked to a counselor who helped me out tremendously - she was a TOTAL stranger and that seemed to help ME. Perhaps even talking to a "stranger" could be easier for YOU? Good luck and DON'T GIVE UP!
When I was 16 I felt like that too. I wish that I would've talked to someone though cuz now being an adult I'm on an antidepressant and it's the best thing that could have happened to me..Go see a counselor and then get on an antidepressant..it helps and you don't have to be on it forever, just to get you throught the tough times. Good luck hun. :)
