It sounds like you have social anxiety disorder. Especially in this day and age where children and young adults experience a lot of bullying and or criticism, they get social anxiety disorder as a result. The reason is that your brain becomes in fight or flight mode so much that when you hear laughing, etc. your brain tries to protect you by looking at the situation and assuming the worst that they are laughing about you. It is highly treatable through therapy and sometimes with mild anti anxiety medications. Hope this helps =) Also, this is commonly mistaken for paranoia for those who are not educated in the mental health field. I assure you this is not paranoia, but rather a type of anxiety disorder.
Sounds to me like your being a bit over paranoid! Why would they laugh at you! do you have low self esteem? Dont worry what others think about you!
stop being paranoid.
being talked and looked is not a bad thing in fact. my advise is try not to be disturbed by this and don't care about it too much. ignore this problem and don't care about people. do whatever you want and don't be embarrassed by yourself. don't mind anything. maybe you'll see it isn't like as you think about this. maybe they're not always looking and talking about u. don't worry about it. you'll get over this in a short time. and is there something different about u for make them look at you??
Self consciousness is all.
Truth is this- people talk. But, they are NOT always going to be talking about YOU.
Unless you have a CLEAR reason for thinking that they are laughing at you, I would think it's coming from a poor concept of yourself.
It sounds like you have some insecurity about yourself. A lot of the time people are so wrapped up in themselves and their own world they are not thinking about you. You can see this at shopping malls and walking down the street. They are in a daze heading straight for you. You can always talk to someone about this. They will be able to help you learn how to cope with this problem. Best Wishes
