Question:
As a result of some of the questions on this site, I have some questions about suicide hotlines. I want to call the hotline and ask them some questions, but I don't want to clog up the line and prevent a person with a real emergency from getting through. Is there a non-emergeny number run by the same people who run the suicide hotlines...a number where I can just ask some questions?
I am not suicidal and don't currently know anyone who is. I just want information for the future.
Answers:
I think it would be okay to call on a weekday like Monday. The weekends are really busy with stressed out people. Your questions are important and you should definitely call.
Make the call & have your questions answered. Hotlines have many people to take phone calls & your call is important to them.
You should call, that is what they are there for.
You call them now they have plenty of people to answer phones .never ever feel that way that is why they are there so call now ..bless you kara
