Why Do scientology Members Hide Their connection To scientoology In The Mental Health Questions?
Question:
Beware of these posters. They will tell you to go off your meds and then send you to a scientology link. There is very little you can do in scientology that will not cost you money. Its a scam that rips off its members and hurts the world.
You can learn more at xenu.net or xenutv.com or just goggle;
scientology and mental health
But again, if you really belive in what you are posting why hide the connection?
Answers:
They hide their connections because they know that people have figured out how creepy and crazy Scientology is, so they don't want their message tainted by the fact that it's coming from a cult member, or rather, the way they see it, a "perceived" cult member.
Because Scientologists are full of crap. I hope Tom Cruise reads this!
Yes, Scientology is dumb. Taking vitamins does NOT treat or cure depression.
Because they're Crazy maybe.?
THANKS SOMEONE ACTUALY SAID IT AT LAST!!
Well I guess it all boils down to different people have different experiences and beliefs, and when someone finds something that works for them, they try to share it. I don't personally subscribe to Scientology, yet I can't deny I have seen people who were helped by it. Are they any different from people who say don't take your meds and pray to Jesus? I guess I have seen some people get better through conventional religion as well, and doesn't it suck money out of it's congregations? As far as I go, I never tell anybody go off their meds, but I do point people to look at the possibility of EFT for psych and some medical problems. It is free by the way and not associated with any religious belief. However, I have seen a great many people have astounding benefits from it. If I didn't suggest it where it seems appropriate, I wouldn't feel as if I had given all of the information I had. So anyway, while I personally think very much like you do about Scientology, that it is primarily designed to make money, and that for most it doesn't hold the answers to getting 'well'... I don't see the posters who suggest it any worse than those telling you to go to church and get born again. Maybe they are just offering the only help that they know how to.
I see several groups and their ideas in this section. There is no group that appears to be very successful in managing this human need. I wish there would come yet another concept with new ideas to share. God knows there are many who need something different in the area of recovery from mental disorders and the related mental health advice. I do not support the medical profession treatments other than to say we don't have anything else better yet.
So your obviously posting this to attack rather than to help anyone.
I as a Scientologist do not hide who I am.
Scientology has techniques a person can use to handle and rid themselves of so called 'mental illnesses.
Do I believe there is no such thing? No, I believe when a person is under stress from environment or other people they get sick, they have upsets, they feel confused.
To go to a psych who would put you on drugs and tell you what he thinks is insane.
Anyone who is on medication should seek the help of a professional doctor to ween them off them. These drugs are dangerous they cause major health problems as well as further 'mental problems'.
When someone stops taking drugs, be they street or psychiatric, they need to replenish all the vitamins and minerals that have been stripped from their system. The other thing that needs to be handled is the toxic formula's that have been introduced.
Michael,
So called mental illness? How silly of you. As long as you are listing links, check out xenu.net and xenutv.com. I would say more but hey, the readers will see your post for what it is.
Great question JeraldR. Are you the same person who wrote...
