Learn, as you're running for the part, to take a deep breath.
As you do, remind yourself that this is the customer's upsetness - not yours.
If the customer gets in your face, take a step back. Let them vent, but decide in your mind to keep your cool.
Also you can fall back on this little phrase in your own mind. "what difference will this make 10yrs. from now?"
Punching bags in the back room are always nice ;-)
Aside from that, you could set up some sort of "busted truck parts" area in the back where you can go back and bang on them with other broken parts, metal rods, or a sturdy hammer... I'd go with the metal things because the wood of a hammer might break over time. Obviously, no parts that can blow up or cause damage when they break, and only use parts that are damaged beyond repair.
If it's a small enough shop, a "screaming room" won't be an option... but some people get more of a benefit from writing out their frustrations either on paper or on a computer. There's all sorts of ways to safely vent off frustration without alerting customers of it.
Talk with your co-workers. Make sure you eat and drink enough. And just try and smile and be pleasant. Who knows, maybe by being nice you will change someone's day!
Think about your mom, she is kind, lovely. Then your angry will disappear. Think about closest person, sweetest moment of your life sing a song you will OK.
