Are there any antidepressants or mood stabalizers that DON'T make you TWITCH?

Question:
I have tried Prozac (SSRI) and Effexor (SNRI) but both caused terrible muscle twitches.

Is there anything out there that can help without this oh-so-creepy side effect?

Answers:
Most of the time its all trial and error with all those types of meds. All that you can do is to continue trying other ones until you find one that works for you. I have heard great things about Cymbalta. It might be worth a shot. I hope you find what you are looking for!
There's bound to be some meds without that side effect for you. Effectiveness and side effects for anti-depressants vary from person to person, so it's a matter of trial and error to find what works for you. I had that problem with Effexor and Pexeva, but not Wellbutrin.
I was on both Prozac and Effexor (not at the same time) in the past. I was able to change to a different med because I have a doctor who listens to me and WE work together. You may want to try Depakote or Topamax. I have used both of these and was fine on them. I currently use Topamax and Cymbalta in combination. They not only help to keep me from getting deeply depressed, but they do not give me any "creepy" side effects.
