There are some over the counter products that do not require prescriptions like paracetamol,antibiotic,antifun... ointment,acetyl salicylic acid.In low dose that are not so harmful.But without having through knowledge of symtoms or disease conditions that are deleterious.If you mistake stoke for headache,acidity for heart attack,vomitting for gallstone it could lead to serious conditions.Popping pills without proper justification may have dangerous side effects like peptic ulcers,liver and kidney diseases.Paracetamol is safe in low dose but in high dose it is hepatotoxic and may bring death.
no, a drug is not going to all of a sudden become safe just because a doctor writes you a prescription. A doctor can determine if something is safe for you though, but if you dont have any major medical problems and your healthy for the most part then i dont think its going to hurt you. Obviousely its a good idea to read the labels so you know basic info about it.
Well those pills are for people who NEED them. For people who are in pain, have anxiety attacks, or are depressed. Now just because they 'need' them, dosen't mean they won't suffer the same side effects as you would if you didn't need them. Popping pretty much any perscription pills for recreational use is bad mainly because alot of them are addictive, they change the way your brain functions, and messes up your kidneys.
Why not just smoke marijuana? No risk of overdose,addiction,no change in brain chemestry, and you'll still have your kidneys.
