Are there any non-sedative/energizing antidepressants out there?


Question:
Recently I've started to realise Prozac’s not the right drug for me, when I drink red bull it tends to work a lot more efficiently than Prozac does. Are there any other anti-depressants you could recommend?

I'm with five up there, Wellbutrin is great. I take it for ADHD, but there is no lethargy or any other side effects.
BTW, my mom has taken Prozac for years and I just watched her turn into an apathetic slug. Just my experience, it helps a lot of people. But if it isn't for you, then change it.

Wellbutrin is an atypical anti-depressant, so it doesn't have a lot of the same side effects as the SSRIs (such as Prozac).
