See a therapist.
Please calm down. Have you been able to sleep? Does this happen often? Are you under extreme stress?

Sometimes having "visions" like this is not all that extraordinary. You may just be sensitive to what you are watching and your mind is trying to process it with all of the feelings you have going on in your subconscience.

Go to a mental health facility for a check up and see a therapist it will help you feel calmer and feel safer. Plus if there is something wrong they can help you fix it.

Dont be afraid to ask for help. Mental illnesses can be treated and statistics are high that people who experience mental illness and dont get help are more likely to do rash things like commit suicide. Please Get help immediately.
sounds like a mental health problem. i suggest that you seek the advice of a psychiatrist. there are medications out there that can help you. don't wait do it now as things will get worse.
I would ask some friends or your MD and find out a good therapist. And ask your MD if you need any tests that might determine if you have any chemical imbalances. You never know.

Also, you really might want to pay more attention to what you are reading and watching on TV or at the movies especially at night. I sometimes have a problem with really graphic or scary scenes or situations on TV and in movies and will sometimes flash back on them for several weeks later if I see something that vaguely reminds me of it. It does go away but I try to just not watch stuff that I know will bother me.

It could be the anxiety from living away from your family and feeling helpless to be there if they were to need you. Perhaps spend more time if you can talking with them on the phone or in letters. Ask someone back home to keep an eye on them for you.
Good luck and I hope they stop soon!
I agree, absolutely seek help from a professional. You don't need to put up with the added stress these thoughts are creating.

You sound very anxious and that's not surprising. Anxiety can do strange things to our thought processes, which in turn can affect our dreams.

A competent professional can determine if you are suffering from depression or other form of mental illness and need medication. You'd probably be surprised to know how many people take medication these days. It is not considered the terrible thing it once was. Most medications enable you to carry on with your life as you did before you started having difficulties.

Good luck to you. I hope you find the help you need.
I'm so sorry this is happenning to you! I can't even imagine the mental torture this must be causing you! I'm also sorry that I don't know what you have. Maybe Post tramatic Stress Disorder,(PTSD).The best thing that I can tell you is to go to your doctor and ask them. Try to cut down on shows that show gory images on it. Good luck and I pray that this will stop .
Sometimes OCD shows itself as pure obsessions (unwanted thoughts) with no compulsions to calm the anxiety. But only a professional can tell you what your problem is. What I am sure about is that being apart from your family plays a big role in your unwanted thoughts. Please seek help from a professional and in case you go and visit your family and all of these thoughts disappear, don't leave them. I made a mistake like that. Stay where you feel better.Health comes first in every body's life. Good Luck.
You need to say yes to what is, you're saying no. This resistance is causing you to think.
