i really support you because i suffered like you from depression ,and i have been taking a drug for 3 years , but i do beleive that depression basicaly results from imbalanced chemicals in the body and brain which resulted from lack of some minerals and vitamins and fats that the body really needs for doing its functions properly , so befor you go to psychologist , i advice to go to nutrition and natural therapy specialist to decide what your body and nerves lack .

Spend your next crying hour fixing your ghastly/sad avatar. The poor thing looks like it just swallowed a lemon sideways after getting kicked in the nuts. Then go outside and do something useful, mow the lawn, wash the car, do some clean up, etc. Get out, live a little, go buy a coffee or something. Setting around moping isn't going to get you feeling better..
That is what friends are for...talk to them.
the is a semi-common root that is not per scribed for depression but i have seen it work on many people it called (turmeric root) it is good for you skin your immune system your mental health amongst other things. i would recommend finding it and then taking about three times the recommended dose to treat depression this is a non professional recommendation but if your serious about kicking the depression you will try it.
Well, think about it, What are you so depress about? You can talk to me about it, i'm a good listener. Maybe we can talk to each other about our problems, and why we're so depress.
Have you shared this with your primary care doctor?
or have you ever been on medication?? You did not mention if you had a life situation happen to you, which can trigger depression.

My suggestion, from personal experience ( professional) is see a doctor first, tell your story, and please do the follow-up.

You are the only one who can help 'you'.

good luck to you
You can't involve your friends or any situation in your life. When you are in the grips of this chemical imbalance, you are not capable of analyzing things properly. The first thing you need to do is go to a doctor and get put on medication. Once your brain is functioning properly, then you can get some therapy and help with other problems in your life. It DOES affect everything in your life, so get it treated as soon as possible. If you want, you can click on my icon and email me and I'll be happy to do what I can.
i know it helped me, try going out of the house, like go for a walk in the mall, go for a drive, go to the movies. another best thing is hang out with your friends. find something to get things out of your mind. good luck.
Sweetie talk to your freinds that is what they are there for.
Depression hurts everyone, and its no laughing matter.
Go to a mental health clinic or to your family doctor there are medications out there that help control the symptoms of depression and make your feel better. You just have to talk to someone and ask for help. You have to make that first step no one can make it for you.
If you have an issue, get help. Contact a therapist or psychiatrist, whether you are more inclined to therapy or medications. Just remember, go into these things with a positive attitude, if you really think it is going to help, it probably will. (If you cannot afford one of these solutions, or choose not to take my advice, studies have shown that just talking with someone, face to face, can have almost as good an effect as therapy.)

Sorry to hear that!
I was depressed (and suicidal) for years. I was abused for 15 years of my life (I'm 19 now) and it was horrible. But no fear, I'm 110% better now. I do think that sometimes depression is due to chemical imbalance, but other times it stems from something terrible that has happened, or is happening, to a person. I suggest you talk to your friends...after all, if they really care for you they will be more than happy to help you. I don't know what I would have done if it weren't for my friends. If you aren't ready to talk to them yet, then you can talk to me (lady_of_the_penguins@yahoo.co... or consider having a consultation with a doctor (psychiatrist). If you can't get over it on your own, maybe meds would help. No matter what, I'm here if you need to talk.
