Cymbalta's side effects are dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, fatigue, decreased appetite, weight decrease, tremors, dizziness, hot flushes, sweating, blurred vision, insomia. You can also get skin uclers, brusing, chest and stomach pains and rashes.
It can be a dependant drug. It's been evaluated for safety. It may take 1-4 full weeks before you feel the full effects of using Cymbalta. It works by restoring the balance of 2 natural substances (otherwise known as: serotonin and norepinephrine) in the brain.
It gave me headaches so i didnt stay on it too long.
use google much?
There is no way to even begin to try to tell you what to expect as each person reacts differently to each medication. You also didn't even say why you are supposed to use it. Cymbalta is used for depression but is also used to help with pain control. Read the leaflet that came with the med so you know what it should and shouldn't do and what the main side effects are then start it when the doc wants you to start it.
I've seen several people have great results (I work in a doc office). they give you the 30mg first and then the 60mg because the main problem with the med is nausea. Every drug affects people differently. Drink lots of water. Con't to take the med, unless the side effects are unbearable. Don't stop taking it unless you consult with your doc office. (truly unrealistic to say you can talk to your doc without an appt). But if your doc put you on it, your probably in need of it. It also has anti-anxiety properties to it. If you find you can't get through the side effects, ask to try something else in their sample closet. Or maybe a generic from the $4 list avail at walmart or target. Good luck, keep your chin up!
Its a good med...
