First of all I would start putting in applications for other jobs that you think you could do at your pace that isn't going to cause you so much anxiety. I never quit one job til I had an interview with another one and pretty sure i got the job, and always give a notice where you are working. You didn't say if you are married or how old you are and if you can afford to lose that much weight and not hurt your health. So I am taking a shot in the dark by trying to help you out. You may be your own boss but if it is causing you all that trouble and stress, is it really worth it? Besides the cost of gas now days, you should sit down and figure out how much it is costing you to do that job after counting the cost of gas and ware and tare on your car. It takes you so long to find places because you are not from there and have a hard time , there is another stressful situation. And if you already have an anxiety disorder why put on that kind of stress added to the problem you already have. This is one question only you can answer for your self. Is it really worth it to you to hate going to work every day?Is there some other jobs in that location you could find that isn't as stressful ? I would find some one to help you write out a really good resume, with out stressing the truth, and send them out to every place you think you could handle. I would look on the internet , there are places putting in ads all the time for help.Aso you didn't say why you haven't worked for 5 years, was it because of the dis-order of anxiety or something else that would make a place of business not want to hire you. When you hven' worked for a long time you are going to be nervous about working again because you have become used to staying at home or what ever you were doing before, and now you are out of the norm and that could be causing the stress. Every one has a comfort zone and once you hve to get out of the comfort zone it is going to be hard to do something else , that is a given. If you try and relax and look at it as just a job and not a prison you are locked into it may get easier, try and hang in there for at least a couple more weeks and if it doesn't get better , get out of there, and once again give a notice and do not just quit and leave your employer in a mess. I wish I had better advise to give you but this is all I can give to try and help you. Good luck and start on the reseme's and get them out soon.
