Do depressed people...?

Question:
masturbate more or less than mentally healthy people?

Answers:
Well, usually depressed people can't do anything that gives them pleasure, so I would say less.
Depressed people are more prown to various type of addictions as coping mechanisms. So it does make sense that they would masturbate more often.
Less i reckon, I'm too fed up to play with myself much, but the toy does come out very occasionally :))
I think that one of the symptoms of depression can be a loss of interest in pleasurable activities, including sexual activities. I haven't seen any studies about it, but my guess is that depressed people masturbate less.

Good luck,

personally, it dosent interest me quite like everything else really

but i expect it will come back again one day

best wishes

My guess would be less. Depressed people do not feel good about themselves or life and often think negative.
Probably more to feel better. I'm not sure
no some people are more in-touch with there self.
Less, for the most part. It can be very tiring, difficult to climax, and the desire usually isn't there. I'm 20 and I've been depressed my whole life and I've never orgasmed and I doubt I ever will. I blame this on the depression itself and the drugs I take to treat it. Most antidepressants can severely effect a person's libido.
