dont give up hope.the numbness is lack of oxigen from shallow breathing...once your breathing returns to normal...your fingers will too..my legs used to go numb..it had me racing to the doctors..ahh ive been to hell and back again...dont lose your sense of humor...its a must have...

i dont know but i would definately go to the doctor, see i am a veyr paranoid person so i would be calling the doctor right aways but i dont know.
The numbness could mean that you have poor circulation, too. I would call your doctor's triage nurse, explain the symptoms, as well as your history of anxiety, to him or her, and let that person decide whether you should see the doctor.
Hi again Brook. Again could be just another anxiety problem from the old trauma. The old advice of slowing down your breathing.in thru the nose and out thru the mouth.slowing down the process really works if you concentrate on it.
Not sure if meant you had pounding in chest...anxiety too probably. BUT NEVER ASSUME so.and see a Dr. Get a clean bill of health, maybe an anti anxiety med, treatment options. You will get a better feel for when you really need to go to the Dr. but take no chances now. More on the emdr later
