Any diagnosed with borderline personality, your symptoms, and how do you cope? Meds or therapies have u tried?

Question:
I have been on a downward spiral since I was 9 yrs old. Year by year gets worse, and the docs just medicate me, when one medicine didn't work they would try another. I don’t want just meds I want help. I am now 24 and tired of being medicated and a zombie, I have two very super kids, I want to be there for them. I have quit everything I have ever done in my life. I have flipped out and raged or become hysterical since I can remember and scared my family to death. I am suprised my family even loves me anymore, but I am so thankful. Now my emotional state is empty, I lock everything away so I don't feel it and flip out, and instead spend money I don't have shopping as an emotional outlet. There is more than that but that is the basics. I have borderline personality, depression, anxiety, and adult add. I am trying as best I can. Trouble getting out of the slump of depression. I can’t sleep but feel tired. I can't seem to like anyone. I hate to be touched. Any advice will help.

Answers:
it sound like you have come to the realization that drugs are not the answer. The next step is to find a "naturopathic" or "osteopathic" doctor. These doctors will help you without meds by considering your entire health problem and not just your symptoms. They are different from conventional doctors because conventional doctors simply prescribe pills or drugs and don't really solve the problem. You can usually find these other doctors in the yellow pages or internet. Good luck.
I have read many stories, and personally knew someone, who tried lightly toasting a small amount of bud in a frying pan with butter, and eating it a couple hours before bedtime, working miracles.
This allowed them to sleep better and drastically reduced the symptoms they were experiencing, as well as alleviate stress related symptoms, without the dependency problem associated with harder drugs that are prescribed as sleep aids and mood suppressants. And since the effects wear off rather quickly, there was no problems with waking up groggy, as associated with over-the-counter sleep aids.
Your problems seem to sound more like sleeping problems, that are becoming more common in society, as higher demands create more stress, making it harder to get a decent nights sleep. You may notice that when you sleep, you don't sleep real deep, may not dream much, and wake up often during the night? Then you may even set your alarm ealier than you need to, and hit the snooze, so you aren't late in the morning? People don't realize it, but that does more harm than it does good, verses setting it when you need to, and usually get up after hitting snooze several times. It just makes you get up feeling even more tired, and lacking meaningful rest.
