Try googling "self-mutilation" or "self-injury". I have a sister-in-law who cuts and has been able to overcome it. However, she's replaced her "cutting" with other harmful activities mainly because she misses the attention she got from cutting. My heart goes out to you and I wish you the best of luck. I'm so glad that you at least are trying to help yourself. That is a HUGE step forward!
