take a hot shower before bed or exercise
Hi I am the same. Now I did find some herbal tablets at the chemist in the vitamin section, the chemist helped me and told me which ones they had good feed back on, they were really good, not like prescription ones where you wake upfeeling like hell and needing chocolate. Go there and ask its a common problem, like me sounds like the brain does not switch off no matter how hard you try.
Good luck
so let me try to undertsand this better, you have trouble sleeping? because or too much noise, are you a heavy sleeper? well if there is too much noise you can use earplugs, i use an eyecover to help me sleep.. then again of you are a light sleeper you could take sleeping pills? that might help you out a bit. but DONT watch TV because it keeps you awake I normally used to watch TV when I couldn't sleep and it kept me up, I now put on an eye cover and use ear plugs and it helps me sleep much better. I would also recomend seeing a doctor if you cannot figure out something that hepls you.
I have trouble sleeping to. Ive been told its because im bipolar. Its like the switch that tells my brain to go to sleep is broken. Im such a light sleeper than any thing wakes me up and once Im up I cant get back to sleep. I have to sleep in a very dark room with the doors closed, I like to feel sheltered and I have a really noisey air purifier going to mask any sound. I dream alot to.
Well, this is before I started taking Clomazapam, not sure if its spelled right. I sleep now since I take that sleeping pill. I dont know how I would live with out it.
