Answers:
When people hallucinate from extreme exhaustion, it does not happen just because they have stayed awake for 24 hours. If you pull an all nighter for school, you aren't going to hallucinate.
If you are awake for 3 or more days straight and have been physically very active, then you may hallucinate from extreme exhaustion. For example, if you read about the Navy Seal training, when they are going through Hell Week, those guys often start hallucinating a few days into the week, because they are so sleep deprived and have been pushing their bodies to the physical limits for days at a time.
So. don't be worried about being awake for 24 hours, you won't start hallucinating.
um well for me personally, I stayed up for a few days in a row, and first of all it makes you feel like crap.
But yeah, at night i usually am really paranoid, and i heard things, and i see shadows move.
After years of working nights, I can tell you - it just looks like the room is tilting at weird angles.

One time when we were driving across country I had been driving a long time, it was late at night. I kept seeing bunnies crossing the road, so we knew it was time to pull off to get a motel. It was really weird. It was like stuffed bunnies, not the real ones.
I only hullucinate when i have a really high fever, like 103 or so, or i have the stomach flu
