Beer and lexapro?

ok this is gonna sound stupid but is it ok if i drank 1 beer an hour ago and i take 5 mg of lexapro now and hit the bed? it was prescribed..and its been

You will be fine. You just have to remember that usually with these types of drugs, that 1drink is like 2 drinks when it concerns alcohol. Just be careful. Everything in moderation.

1 beer is ok, but dont get drunk and then take it. the pills can strengthen the affect of the alcohol and make you pretty messed up if youve had several drinks

Lexapro can be taken while having a drink of alcohol, though it is not recommended by the manufacturer (Forest Pharmaceuticals). You will not be greatly harmed in drinking a beer, however, I would not recommend drinking more than just one. My doctor told me beer and lexapro would not be a problem...I never drink one beer.I have drank seven or eight beers, then took my lexapro at night...the only deal is about thirty minutes after taking it, I will be very sleepy...No matter what time it is...so I take mine at night. Been on lexapro for a little over a month now...It is working for me..
