Question:
My new doctor gave me some some cymbalta which is an antidepressent , she gave me 4 sample bottles and I took one and ate an hour later and now I feel very light headed and sick like I feel like I have to throw up especially when I think about eating. Is there anyone else who feels this way when takeing this perscription? Note this is my first time taking any type of antidepressant.

No one can really answer this accurately.
Any first-time prescription is usually explained to you by the pharmacist. It should also have come with a pamphlet explaining side affects. If they persist, check with your doctor. See this website:

I take Cymbalta. I never had any reaction like that. Any meds can make you queasy, but I don't think that is a huge side effect of Cymbalta. As a rule, I don't thing AD cause nausea very often.
No offense...but I wonder if it is more about anxiety over taking the meds rather then the meds itself???
You need to call your doctor asap and let him know what is going on. Try to keep a record of your reactions after taking the medication.
