Am I still on Zoloft withdrawal?

Question:
I've been diagnosed for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and have been given the drug Zoloft on 25mg a couple weeks ago. I've only taken Zoloft for 2 days and since then I've decided I didn't need the anxiety medication. Since then I've been experiencing zaps and joint pains the first few days off Zoloft. It became worse with tingling sensations all over my body and headaches. I've been off Zoloft for 20 days now and i'm still experiencing body aches, tingling sensations in the hands and joint pains. Is this still from Zoloft or from another disease?

Answers:
After only two days on such a low dosage, you should not be experiencing this after 20 days. It is possible, I suppose, but I recommend talking to your doctor. Maybe you should talk to a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, someone who specializes in psychopharmacology. I have experiences Zoloft® withdrawls, but I take 100mg/day and have been on it for months. If I go off it for two or three days I experience withdrawl symptoms that are characteristic of people coming off of SSRIs (fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline). Definitely talk to someone. It seems unlikely that after two days on 20mg of sertraline you would have enough in your system to experience the withdrawals, but it may be possible.

Good luck with this.
The "zaps",are they like it your head??I have had those coming off of Zoloft as well. But zoloft has a very low half life in the body system so i doubt that is still the continuing problem.
first of all they dont treat ocd with zoloft and if you only took it for two days you didnt even hardly have it in your system yet, it takes a couple of weeks to get to a maintenance level, i think you have answered your own question, you are obsessing.....
go see a dr, 2 days of this drug shouldn't still be affecting you.
