Sleeping help Q.?


Question:
i need help sleeping cos im moody in day and i feel very dull. ive tried to change my body clock to suit it but it does not matter.

i am a really light sleeper one sound and im awake. and wen i wake up i cant go back to sleep ive tried doing this during the day.

ive tried ear plugs
i do alot of exercise so im not too energized by my food
i just wanna go sleep and be refreshed the next day :( any suggestions?

See insomnia treatments, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 3, and take the tests for depression and bipolar disorder, on pages 2, and 5, and read those pages. Get an hour of sunlight, and no daytime sleeping! Don't overexercise: 30 - 60 mins daily is enough; more can cause fatigue. If not improved in several days, see a doctor, for possible anaemia, thyroid, or adrenal gland problems, etc.
I have the same problem a lot of the time. The only thing that works for me is to get a sleeping mask to cover my eyes and then use headphones. Ear plugs only add to your discomfort. Bose makes really good headphones that have noise reduction technology they basically filter out all of the outside noise you would normally hear. This is of course a slight problem if you have to wake up to an alarm. If using any of this does not work I would suggest seeing a doctor about getting on a sleep aid prescription. Ambien works really well, I have used it before and as long as you take it when you can get a full 8 hours of sleep it will have you waking up feeling like a million dollars.
stop drinking any sort of fizzy juice. Try and stop the carbs or any meal after 6 (this lets your stomach digest) so the energy will be burnt off by the time you go to bed. Try reading before you sleep or watch a documentary (but don’t start to find it interesting otherwise you will be up all night) if it gets really bad you can get some tablets from your closest pharmacy to help they will be herbal so don’t worry. Try drinking herbal tea as well it tastes yuck but helps. Its basically making your body so tired you wont wake up until your alarm. Of even try putting some calming music like soft musical instruments no words on your Ipod and just plug that into your ears. If none of these work id go to your doctor if I were you sleep depravation is a serious thing.

I usually drink my favourite beverage, take a shower, undress and sleep. I would doze off in a few minutes.

But maybe something else is bothering you?
Maybe too much of stress at work or something personal?
You need to find out what it is, and handle it in a good way...
