Depression?

Question:
what is it, have i got it, i cant sleep, never hungry, dont eat hardly, dont socialise anymore, n just want t stay in bed all day and cry. am i depressed and how can i feel better

Answers:
yes sweetheart you are depressed. its easy for everyone to say go on anti depressants, The best way to help yourself is exercise.. go for a walk. a gym. Having sex is also a good thing believe it or not. When u have sex your brain releases a chemical which gives you a sense of well being, its like a pleasure chemical, Just like an adrenelin rush. depression is an inbalance chemical in the brain. No one knows why it happens, I have had this before. do you know why you feel this way??
smoke weed. anti-depressants are sh*t, trust me. i took wellbutrin for 2 weeks and it felt like i took a freakin' tylenol.
You sound depressed. When I suffered depression I did drag myself to work but liteally did the job and went home. Wouldnt socialise at lunch time with my friends, couldnt bear social gatherings and even family ones.
I ended up self harming...
Go to your GP. They can prescribe low strength anti depressants to start with and refer you to councelling if you want to (for free).
Dont leave it because it doesnt go on its own x
You do sound depressed, but what has happened in your life that you believe triggered it? You simply may need a friend to unload on. Keep talking to us here at YouQA.com and we will try to be there for you.
Sounds very similar to how I felt .Go and see your doctor he may want to put you on tablets or send you for councelling either way you will feel a lot better when you have got help/treatment .shut your computer down and go see your doctor.Dont listen to people who say "snap out of it " you cant you cant say to someone with a fractured leg walk you are unwell get treament .hope you soon better.
u do sound depressed. i do feel like this from time to time. i put loud music on, and believe me,it does help a lot. soon enough i am back in the mood. try that. listen to party type songs etc. also try dancing to the songs.
last time, i looked for ' how to dance' and soon enough, it had lifted my moods. i was trying some hip hop dancing!
Try talking to a friend about your problems. If that doesn't help, see your doctor; but don't ignore the way you feel. Don't allow it to get worst..
Try this, when you wake up tomarrow morning get out of bed put on your running shoes and go for a run( or if like me a brisk walk for a few miles or as long as you can go and increase it a little each day) you'll work up an appetite, might meet a new friend on your run, which could lead you to start smiling again. Better still call up a few of your friends and invite them to run with you which could help with your social problem and if a tad bit over weight (which also leads to depression) you'll solve that problem by burning up calories.
sounds like your depressed to me, make an appointment with you doctor and explain how down your feeling.

Sorry to hear you're feeling this way. It does sound like depression, but only a doctor can make that diagnosis. I suggest seeking help quickly. You can be helped, and know that help is out there, so stay positive knowing this.
If you've been feeling like this for weeks and possibly months, then please don't wait. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and perhaps medication, you'll be on your way to feeling better. You need to put in at least this bit of effort. It's not going to suddenly go away. You can get back to feeling better.
