Its a controlled substance. There are herbal remedies that have very similar effects. Valerian root is one and Kava Kava is another. With Kava Kava you have to be careful because prolonged use can result in benzo type withdrawal(benzos are valium, xanax, ativan ect..). Chamomile is supposed to be another good one. I found that the Kava Kava does work the best. I got mine in liquid form. Its faster scting that way. Tastes like crap, but works well for anxiety.
