Bipolar people- do you ever find yourself getting upset because people?

Question:
misunderstand you? Do you ever feel like you don't have the righ to get angry about things that other people would get angry about , just because you know everyone will just crack it up to you being bipolar?

Answers:
Yes - I am bipolar and these are very common symptoms - not just for you and me, but for bipolar in general. The feeling of being misunderstood or rejected or judged is a trigger for many of us. Then it is even more hurtful and frustrating when people see us as our disorder and not as real individual people. What helped me was talking about these issues in therapy, going to a DBSA bipolar support group, and getting on an effective mood stabilizing medication. Now I am enjoying my life again and am more able to cope with things. Good luck! Sarah
many of the people in my family are bipolar. when they get upset they just do. they don't distinguish between what is a so called good reason from a little thing that truly does not matter. I can tell the difference between real anger and an episode, which i just ignore.
