Too smart?

Question:
Everytime I am called upon to awnser a question, whether it be a school or home... I'm always too careful around any question. I come up with the right awnser, but then my head keeps telling me that I'm wrong and I have to check it from every way possible, this eventually gets me confused and i end up with the wrong awnser.. Does anyone know why this happens?

Answers:
Well, maybe sometimes that would be good or bad, it depends on the conditions..

Forget about anything bothering you, lately and LIVE UP!! Live a happy life, will you? LAUGH.ALL DAY...
Your self confidence is low. While you are smart, you do not think that you are.

Try to raise your habd the next time. Do not wait to be called.
I don't but the same thing happens to me :(
you're not trusting yourself
obsessive compulsive disorder (O.C.D)?
I also think that you may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ( O.C.D. ). Most people think of O.C.D. as the disorder where you are constantly doing something over and over again, like washing your hands or making sure all the doors and windows are locked in your house but, O.C.D. can also be in your head ( the same thoughts over and over again ) and you can't control your thoughts no matter how hard you try. Go to www.webmd.com and type in obsessive compulsive disorder and read about it.
always trust your instinct.

and even if youre wrong... sure youll learn on it.

nobody is perfect.
and this world

accept it
This is called critical thinking. Critical thinking skills are a very useful tool in becoming not only a successful student, but a successful person as well. If you continue to think critically, over time it will become much easier and a lot less stressful. In the mean time just take it slowly and try not to take yourself so seriously. Give yourself a break sometimes.

And another thing that's important to remember is that NOT EVERYTHING HAS A RIGHT/WRONG ANSWER. Especially when it comes to people.

As far the O.C.D. goes I really think you're fine. I mean, if you get to the point where you honestly think you need help, then maybe you should talk to your counselor (school's about to start right?), and even if your not sure, there's nothing wrong with just asking him/her about it. I've felt like that before too and it really helps to talk to someone who can give you a more professional opinion.

Thinking does take effort, and caring whether or not you're right or wrong can be stressful, but PLEASE don't stop thinking for yourself.

This world needs thinkers.
