Are you making any time for yourself? If not, I suggest you schedule yourself an appointment to take a nap, get a massage or whatever you do to unwind. You'll probably have to carve it out of your schedule. No one is going to take care of you, so you'd better start doing it.
There are a number of books, tapes, dvds, etc... Check with your local library for more info.
Sometimes you can take a mini vacation and hide for 5 -10 minutes and look at a picture of an oasis or listen to music to put you in a good mood, or just get out of the situation for a few.
Good luck!
EASY! lots of pain killers and musle relaxers
See stress, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 7.
I stop whatever it is I'm doing, and I breathe deeply and listen to myself doing so for about 15 seconds. I then fix whatever the problem is, and plan a really relaxing night of good wine, good movies and lots of sleep.
If the stress is reoccuring and unavoidable, I try to be outside more with close friends and family. I spend time with my dog, listen to good music and hit the gym like a fiend.
SING!!! ur heart out my friend
first life is not stress free. there are two types of stress eustress and distress.one is stress caused by good things (yes, stress does happen even in good times) and the other is stress caused by negative things..
your perspective and interpretation on the events in your life is what will determine how you respond to them...
try taking a new perspective on the things that come your way...practice having a relaxed attitude, practice letting things go and i say practice because sometimes it goes against a person's nature and personality, so sometimes it takes practice to develop a new outlook and response to things.
try deep breathing exercises...even if you don't think they work, they do. read about the benefits of deep breathing on the internet.
keep on exercising because it does increase the "happy" chemicals in your body.endorphines.
try journaling, listening to relaxing music, meditation, a warm bath with a lavendar scent.
there are tons of ways to help the body relax, but the most important thing is to relax your mind...and only you can do that with how you choose to think and process things.
take some vitamin B COMPLEX( 50)MG. ADAY.
Coping with Stress

How can I change my lifestyle habits to manage stress better?

Get enough sleep: Adequate sleep fuels your mind, as well as your body. Feeling tired will increase your stress because it may cause you to think irrationally. See Helpguide's Getting the sleep you need
Connect with others: Develop a support system and share your feelings. Perhaps a friend, family member, teacher, clergy person or counselor can help you see your problem in a different light. Talking with someone else can help clear your mind of confusion so that you can focus on problem solving.
Exercise regularly: Find at least 30 minutes, three times per week to do something physical. Nothing beats aerobic exercise to dissipate the excess energy. Physical activity plays a key role in reducing and preventing the effects of stress. During times of high stress, choose things you like to do. It also is beneficial to have a variety of exercise outlets. Be physically fit in ways appropriate for your age, rather than being sedentary.
Eat a balanced, nutritious diet: Be mindful of what you put in your body. Healthy eating fuels your mind, as well as your body. Take time to eat breakfast in the morning, it will help keep you going throughout the day. Eating several balanced, nutritious meals throughout the day will give you the energy to think rationally and clearly. Well-nourished bodies are better prepared to cope with stress. See Helpguide's Healthy Diet / Healthy Eating.
Reduce caffeine and sugar: Avoid consuming too much caffeine and sugar. In excessive amounts, the temporary "highs" they provide often end in fatigue or a "crash" later. You’ll feel more relaxed, less jittery or nervous, and you’ll sleep better. In addition, you’ll have more energy, less heartburn and fewer muscle aches.
Don’t self-medicate with alcohol or drugs: While consuming alcohol or drugs may appear to alleviate stress, it is only temporary. When sober, the problems and stress will still be there. Don’t mask the issue at hand; deal with it head on and with a clear mind.
Do something for yourself everyday: Take time out from the hustle and bustle of life for leisure time. Too much work is actually inefficient and can lead to burnout. Recognize when you are most stressed and allow yourself some reasonable breaks. When things feel especially difficult, take a walk or change your scenery. Most importantly, have fun. Do things that make you happy.

How can I change my thinking and emotional responses to handle stress better?

Have realistic expectations:Know your limits. Whether personally or professionally, be realistic about how much you can do. Set limits for yourself and learn to say “no” to more work and commitments.
Reframe problems: See problems as opportunities. As a result of positive thinking, you will be able to handle whatever is causing your stress. Refute negative thoughts and try to see the glass as half full. It is easy to fall into the rut of seeing only the negative when you are stressed. Your thoughts can become like a pair of dark glasses, allowing little light or joy into your life.
Maintain your sense of humor: This includes the ability to laugh at yourself. Watch a funny movie: the sillier the plot the better. The act of laughing helps your body fight stress in a number of ways. See Helpguide's Humor, laughter and health.
Express your feelings instead of bottling them up: In order to live a less stressful life, learn to calm your emotions. A good cry during periods of stress, or sharing your concerns with someone you trust can be healthy ways to bring relief to your anxiety.
Don’t try to control events or other people: Many circumstances in life are beyond your control, particularly the behavior of others. Consider that we live in an imperfect world. Learn to accept what is, for now, until the time comes when perhaps you can change things.
Ask yourself “Is this my problem?” If it isn't, leave it alone. If it is, can you resolve it now? Once the problem is settled, leave it alone. Don't agonize over the decision, and try to accept situations you cannot change.

Meditation will help you get rid of stress.
Also try exercise. Check out QiGong or Tai Chi.
Stressing about things is 90% more stressful that solving your problems. So, instead of stressing over say, a fight you got into with your friend, just call them up and say sorry. Problem solved. Your mind makes you feel stressed as a way to get you to take care of the things you need to.
This may have nothing to do with your stress, but do you drink a lot of coffee or cola drinks? I notice that when I have more than two(small) cups of coffee, I get stressed. Switch to herbal tea for a few days to see...or just try cutting down. Just going for a walk in nature helps me plus yoga and listening to classical music.
I get stressed out too. Talk to yourself and ask Now why am I stressed. I know you cant help how you feel, but lots of times we get stressed out over such unimportant things. Save your stress for the big things
yoga/meditate
Simple meditation always helps me. Any kind is usually good. It's a way to make everything go away and take a little vacation. This is a basic form of what I do. It's a mix of different types. It’s a powerful tool you really need. First choose your mantra. This is a word of power, love, and life. I chose, "God", as I intend to be infused with, and maintain His spirit until next time. You can use any word, or short sentence meaningful to you. Another example of a good mantra is the word Love. I can't imagine using another mantra now, so take time with this. When you have it, get comfy. Use whatever position you fancy. Then deliberately go through every, single, tiny muscle in your entire body, (even the tiniest ones in your face), relaxing and filling each one with a protective, loving, healing white light from God. Do this while repeating your mantra silently. When you are completely relaxed and full of light, including your insides. Your body will be like it’s asleep, while your mind is wide awake. This can open you to spiritual contact. This is what makes the next action very important. Surround yourself with protective white light. I like to make all my white light sparkle & shimmer. Try not to think of anything except your mantra, and the sparkling white light. After this there are some variations you can try. Later. Sounds simple, but it’s not, it takes a great deal of commitment, determination, and concentration. Do this at the same time everyday.
