Why are schizophrenics often the result of physical abuse?
Question:
can anyone help me?
Answers:
Their vibes are often mis-interpreted as hostile or anger when really they can just be scared or defensive and anxious. Body language had more to do with communication than actually words. We are constantly aware of peoples energy that we are around through even the most subtle ways of behavior and body language.
As you stated, it's very, very disconcerting to be in a relationshp with someone who has a disability, or really just an altered mental state. When you're in a close relationship with someone who cannot communicate properly with you, it's very frustrating. But someone who does not quite understand why a person ( a schizophrenic person, at that) acts and does the things they do may mistake it as something else, or an attack on their person. Thusly resulting in such acts of violence. It's a mixture of misunderstanding, ignorance and a lack of education on disabilities and how to treat people.
Girl you need to know more about schizophrenics if you are in a relationship with one.. Schizophrenics are most often than not, afraid of people. they tend to be very defensive. once a schizo enters a room, he looks at it as if he is in a battle ready to clash anyone who may come in contact near him.. or those who may not even came close to him.. he feels that everyone is talking about him and/or everyone is simply against him.. I understand you're situation and it is not an easy task to maintain a relationship with a schizo.. I have experienced working in a mental institute.. your boyfriend needs much attention and please do not let things get worse.. take him to a mental institute for his therapy and never ever skip his medication..
