Help me Please find new doctor?

Question:

this doctor is really just not listening to me. I dont know if its because I am on medicaid or not. My parents have tried to talk to him and tell him what its like to live with me and he still wont listen. I am the worst I have ever been as far as anxiety. He has me on 5 meds. one is lamictal which I like so far and paxil which I also like but then he has me on 2 other anxiety meds that have never worked and I am thinking that all this anxiety meds are making it worse. I tell him every time but he just writes the same prescriptions out. He didnt like the fact that I include my parents in some of our visits but he needs to hear what they go through because of this.

Sorry but that sounds like most doctors. They are pill pushers and don't have time to listen to patients.

I went to different doctors because of stomach problems. They where persistent and painful. I had them for years and never could get them to stop and they where getting worse over time.

I went to several doctors who told me to stop drinking beer, I had irritable bowel syndrome, and some just ignored it to give me blood tests. One doctor gave me narcotics which I threw away because that seemed extreme considering he did not even try to figure out what was wrong.

I had to experiment on my own and it took a year to find out I was lactose intolerant.

I didn’t need narcotics or any of the other prescriptions and I could drink beer just fine thank you.

You are better off figuring out what your problem is researching it tourself then going to the doctor and telling them what you need. They don’t give a crap about you and will be more interested in another appointment and perscribing drugs rather that figuring out why you came in the first place.
