Tell your mother you would be happy to talk to a COUNSELOR---NOT your teacher (they can't do anything for your depression). Then you can go see the counselor by yourself and tell her ANYTHING you want. It will make you feel SO much better.
If your mother makes you go tomorrow, just say the same thing when you are there---you want to see a counselor---and don't say anything else.
maybe you should go..are you taking meds for your depression?
it will be good for you, you may not understand it now but it's for the best. If you want to get better this is a step in the right direction!
nothing and just be honest with your mum.
you should go. is the meeting about your depression? if it is then you should really go
You really need to go to the meeting. I suggest that you keep a journal and start by writing about why you do not want this meeting to occur.
I think the meeting is a good thing and the only reason it is taking place is because they both would like to help you. And trust me, you deserve their help and support.
why do u not want the meeting to go through? OK , forget it, i understand that part.
All i can say is, these are the 2 people who really care the most about you, and if there are any 2 ppl who should be discussing your depression, its them.
Sometimes, we think that letting our parents know about something is the biggest calamity EVER. Turns out, it usually is the biggest relief.
To know that we have their support, and that its OK to be us.
Relax. You're doing the right thing by talking about your issues. You may have a little anxiety about the meeting but take it from me you are in a position to establish a very important relationship with your mom whom I'm sure loves you very much. Be open and HONEST at your meeting tomorrow. You may not see the benefits now but they are there. Good luck and remeber to be honest about your feelings.
Go talk to your mom today, have a heart to heart talk. If there is anyone you should feel comfortable around it is mom.Tell her whats going on, teens go through these stages, I have 2 teens of my own. Thats what teens do, if you need more help ask mom what the options are (private councelors, pastor, whatever). You'll be fine, keep an open mind to what mom says, God bless!
hey im 13 too well 14 today but anyways i know how u feel at first its really scary just to think about it. but in the end it will help, trust me. but isnt it summmer? why ur teacher? u should ask ur mom to talk to a counceler instead. teachers are stupid. anyways just be honest and tell ur mom the truth but if u have to talk to a teacher just be like id rather talk to a counceler and then stay quiet.
